Thank You on Veterans Day

On Veterans Day, the Vocal Majority Chorus pauses to honor the courageous men and women who have worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces. Your service—past and present—has safeguarded the freedoms we cherish and shaped the America we are proud to call home.

For more than fifty years, it has been our privilege to pay tribute to you through song. One of our most cherished traditions is the American Armed Forces Medley, a performance that has touched hearts far beyond the concert hall. To date, our 2009 rendition on YouTube has been viewed more than 1.2 million times, with countless comments from veterans, family members, and grateful citizens who tell us the music brought tears of pride and memories flooding back.

Today, we share our 2009 video, and our more recent 2023 video—not as performers seeking applause, but as fellow Americans offering our deepest gratitude. In 2025, we have added the Space Force and hope to record it someday soon.

To every veteran reading these words: Thank you. Your sacrifice did not go unnoticed, and it will never be forgotten. Because of you, we stand tall, we sing freely, and we live in the land of the brave, with profound respect and heartfelt appreciation.
