Greg Clancy

GREG
CLANCY

Director
Once upon a time, Greg Clancy was known as that 12-year-old kid in the center spot of the Vocal Majority’s front line. Today, Greg is the Musical Director of the chorus, succeeding his Dad, Jim Clancy. Greg has more gold medals than anyone else in Barbershop Harmony Society History. Fourteen of them as a performing Vocal Majority singer, with three of those as the Musical Director of Vocal Majority in 2014, 2018, and 2025, and yet another gold earned as a Champion quartet tenor. Greg has served as Vocal Majority’s tenor section leader, lead section leader, Assistant Director, Associate Director, Creative Director and now Musical Director. In 2014, Greg was inducted into the BHS Southwestern District Hall of Fame.

The Vocal Majority supports multiple public school choral programs by providing special benefit concerts where all proceeds go directly to the school’s program. In addition, we have invited high school quartets to perform on our shows.
