9/11 Concert Donation to Support A Soldier's Child

We have exciting news about our 9/11 concert coming this Sept. 11, 2023!

The Vocal Majority and our 501(c)3 non-profit, VM Music Company, Inc. will donate 100% of net proceeds from our 9/11 Concert of Remembrance to three outstanding organizations.

The first organization we are partnering with is A Soldier’s Child (ASC) who recently opened a North Texas Chapter. Their mission is to serve the children of military personnel who have lost their lives on active duty while defending the United States.

"A Soldier's Child Foundation stands as the voice of the free and our great country," said ASC Founder and Executive Director, Daryl J.W. Macklin. "We the people, do not take our freedoms for granted. We believe we have a debt to pay to our Fallen American Warriors and their families. Our debt is met by serving the widow and orphan left behind.

“We are proud of the selection by the Vocal Majority and VM Music Company as one of the recipients of proceeds from their 9/11 Concert, and are grateful for their generosity and that of their patrons."

We encourage you to watch this short video feature of A Soldier's Child from NBC Nightly News:

ASC has three points of service for the children of our fallen:

  1. Birthday Celebrations. Celebrating ASC’s recipient birthdays every year up to age 18, spending $150 per child, per birthday according to the child's specific gift interview form.

  2. Mentorship Programs. ASC offers a Journey Camp experience for our recipients between the ages of 8-17. This is a week-long summer camp hosted by ASC and our kids are encouraged to attend for at least 3 years.

  3. Educational Scholarships. ASC has a special K-12 private school and trade school.

ASC presently has over 5,000 children enrolled in all 50 states, with 700 children enrolled in Texas. ASC receives no government funding and has averaged 86% of every dollar spent going to kids in programs and services. Read more at ASoldiersChild.org.

Two Additional Organizations We Will Support

In mid-August, we will share the names of the second and third organizations we will support with the net proceeds of our 9/11 concert. With a concert sell-out, we anticipate donating more than $20,000 to each of these organizations. Please click here to reserve your tickets.
