9/11 Concert Donation to Folds of Honor

The Vocal Majority and our 501(c)3 non-profit, VM Music Company, Inc. will donate 100% of net proceeds from our 9/11 Concert of Remembrance to three organizations who support military and first responder families.

One of those organizations is Folds of Honor ensures that families who’ve sacrificed so much for our country and communities receive the education and opportunities they deserve.

Whether it’s K-12th grade or higher education, Folds of Honor believes the cost of pursuing their academic dreams should not be an additional burden.

“The Folds of Honor would like to thank the Vocal Majority for their partnership for the 9/11 Concert of Remembrance”, said Meredith Allen Connally, Regional Development Officer for Folds of Honor in North Texas. “Because of the support of the Vocal Majority and their generous patrons, the Folds of Honor will be able to provide educational scholarships to the students and spouses of our fallen or wounded service members and first responders in the North Texas community. We thank you and salute you for recognizing that freedom isn’t free and for standing with the Folds of Honor and our recipient families.”

  • 44,000 educational scholarships awarded since 2007

  • 41% of all scholarships awarded represent minority recipients

Folds of Honor states that “In the folded flag we see the heavy price of freedom. Yet it’s also a symbol of hope, representing the enduring ideals that make this country a beacon of democracy. We chose this logo because it reflects our mission – to honor the sacrifice of America’s heroes, while giving hope to the bearers of their legacy.”

Folds of Honor has grown from a vision into a movement. The folded flag is a constant reminder of those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. It inspires us to help equip and educate their loved ones in need of our support. Thank you for embracing the call.
